Method

STINT Internationalisation Index is based on data from established actors, such as the Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ), Statistics Sweden (SCB) and Elsevier. The index covers six aspects:

International research
Mobile students
Doctoral students from abroad
Teaching offered in languages other than Swedish
International academic experience of staff
International academic experience of leadership

These aspects are reported separately and weighted together to produce a total index.
