In a rapidly changing world with greater geopolitical tension, the conditions of international academic collaboration become increasingly complex. It is no longer possible to avoid weighing risks and opportunities against each other.
STINT’s new report Risk and opportunity assessment for international collaboration and activities discusses how higher education institutions and other organisations in academia may develop a model that takes into account both risks and opportunities.
The report highlights the complexities of the necessary risk assessments and proposes practical methods and tools to support responsible internationalisation. Through examples and analyses, the report discusses ways in which higher education institutions may identify different risks and weigh these against the many values and opportunities created by international cooperation.
Programme:
- Introduction – Dr Andreas Göthenberg, ED, STINT
