STINT is closely monitoring developments surrounding COVID-19. Our activities may have to be adapted according to circumstances, and any changes will be announced on this page as they are made.
Office staff work from home
STINT follows the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Sweden and our office staff work from home. We are available as per usual on firstname.lastname@example.org and +46 8 671 19 90, as well as via our individual email addresses and telephone numbers.
STINT is receiving many requests to extend projects due to COVID-19. Extraordinary circumstances such as these constitute acceptable grounds for extending project periods. At present, it is difficult to know when international mobility can be resumed. Our recommendation is therefore only to request extensions for projects that are due to be concluded during 2020. Under the current circumstances, such an application for extension should be submitted relatively late in the project period, and about a month before the contract terminates. Other projects should await further developments.
Please contact the appropriate Programme Manager at STINT for more information on applying for an extension.
Delayed project starts
STINT will allow recently funded projects to commence international exchange activities later than indicated in the calls for applications. This will be communicated when contracts are forwarded, or directly to the project managers who have already received contracts. Use the opportunity to plan future activities remotely, so that your project is ready to commence as soon as the travel situation improves.
Within the Teaching Sabbatical Programme STINT has initiated direct dialogue with involved parties on any postponements of stays abroad.
Changes in calls for applications
At present, STINT has not decided to make any changes in calls for applications. Any changes will be published here on stint.se, both as news items and on the programme pages.
