The programme Strategic Grants for Internationalisation opened its first call in 2011 and since then six calls have been carried out with 20 projects granted. The programme objective is to contribute to strategic internationalisation at Swedish higher education institutions (HEIs).
<\/b><\/p>\n

During 2017, SWECO was contracted by STINT to make an evaluation of the programme. The main conclusion of the evaluation was that the programme has made a very significant contribution to strategic internationalisation of the Swedish HEI sector. The evaluators recommended STINT to continue the programme without major changes. However, some smaller adjustments were recommended to be considered by STINT in future calls.<\/p>\n
