On 20 February 2024, STINT\u2019s Advisory Board presented its report Foresight 2030 \u2013 The role of academic internationalisation in the next decade at the annual conference of the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA) in Washington, DC.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The session was opened by STINT\u2019s Executive Director, Dr Andreas G\u00f6thenberg, who spoke about internationalisation in an increasingly complex world. This was followed by interventions by Prof. Jason E. Lane, President and CEO, National Association of Higher Education Systems (NASH), USA, Prof. William Brustein, Gateway International Group, USA, and Dr Agneta Bladh, former Chair, Swedish Research Council, who each gave their perspectives on international academic cooperation in a changing world.<\/p>\n

The session underscores the critical need to chart a new path for international academic cooperation within an increasingly polarised context.<\/p>\n
