Guest Researcher, Center for Strategic Studies and Management (CGEE)<\/em><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” module_id=”Bedomningsgrupper” _builder_version=”4.27.0″ width=”100%” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Dr Jacob Silva Paulsen starts as a STINT Science Fellow in South America on 1 December 2025.<\/p>\n Dr Paulsen has been a Political and Economic Officer at the Embassy of Denmark in Bras\u00edlia, Brazil, since 2024. Prior to this, he served as Science and Innovation Counsellor at the Embassy of Sweden in Brazil (2018\u20132023), where he gained extensive experience in research, innovation, and higher education cooperation. He has also held positions at FORMAS, the Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development (2009\u20132012) and at Nordic Ecolabelling (2002\u20132009).<\/p>\n Dr Paulsen holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the Technical University of Denmark. He was a Visiting Scientist at the University of Bras\u00edlia (2012\u20132015) and has taught courses and delivered lectures on sustainability at several Brazilian universities.
