Dr Niklas Kviselius has served as STINT\u2019s Representative in North America since 2019. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Science and Innovation Counsellor at the Embassies of Sweden in Tokyo and Seoul, where he was responsible for promoting Swedish research and fostering bilateral collaboration with Japan and South Korea. Since 2017, he has been leading an innovation office in Canada with its own research funding, building partnerships across academia, industry, and the public sector in North America, Europe, and Asia.<\/p>\n
Dr Kviselius holds a PhD and MSc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and has also conducted research at Waseda University in Tokyo and Uppsala University. His research background focuses on trust-building and communication in international business relations, as well as how emerging communication technologies are reshaping global collaboration and innovation. His current interests include science diplomacy, open innovation, and international research cooperation.<\/p>\n
