Mobility Grants for Internationalisation – Asia and Oceania
The aim of the call Mobility Grants for Internationalisation – Asia and Oceania is to strengthen Swedish research and higher education by developing and establishing partnerships with universities in Asia and Oceania. Many of the world’s biggest and fastest growing economies are situated in the region. By accounting for more than half of global knowledge production and economic expansion, the region is the driving force in global growth.
Mobility Grants for Internationalisation – Asia and Oceania supports projects of high scientific quality which clearly contribute to the activities of participating institutions. For applications with China, Japan and South Korea there are currently special arrangements for the foreign co-funding of projects.
Japan: STINT has reached an agreement with the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) to jointly support the development of bilateral projects between Japan and Sweden. Funding may also be obtained through the Core-to-Core programme of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Other forms of co-funding are also possible, for instance directly through the Japanese counterpart.
China: STINT has reached an agreement with the National Natural Research Foundation of China (NSFC) to jointly support the development of bilateral projects between China and Sweden. In parallel with the application to STINT, an application can be made to the NSFC’s corresponding programme, although this is not a requirement. Other forms of co-funding are also possible, for instance by the Chinese counterpart.
South Korea: STINT has reached an agreement with the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) to jointly support the development of bilateral projects between South Korea and Sweden. In parallel with the application to STINT, an application can be made to the NRF’s corresponding programme. Other forms of co-funding are also possible, for instance by the Korean counterpart.
Applications for collaboration with Asia and Oceania are submitted to the programme Mobility Grants for Internationalisation.
This call closes on 26 September 2022, at 15:00 (CEST).
