My name is Anthony Owusu-Ansah. I come from Kumasi, the second largest city in Ghana. I graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana with a BSc degree in Land Economy. Land Economy basically combines Law and Economics to solve environmental problems. I am now studying Real Estate Management at KTH in Stockholm. The real estate industry all over the world is developing rapidly in recent times so as a professional in the field I have to equip myself well to take up the challenge. Sweden is one of the countries with a well developed real estate sector so I strongly believe I would get the needed exposure here. In fact, I am enjoying my studies in Sweden very much and even hope to continue up to the PhD level.

I am Raymond Asamoah-Barnieh, a Ghanaian. I graduated from the College of Engineering of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, in 2006 where I advanced my ability to analyze and synthesize from a multi-dimensional perspective. I am currently studying Production Development and Management at Jönköping University, Sweden. From the perspective of my little experience here, Swedes are friendly, the society is calm and just as it is in Ghana people don´t harass others often. The lecturers also seem to be at the forefront of research. From the infrastructural base and the research papers I have analyzed here, I see opportunities to test the hypotheses I formulated when I was in Ghana and new opportunities to theorize, invent and contribute to the advancement of humanity in her mode of thought and approach to solving problems.

My name is Ricardo Moscoso Romero and I come from Mexico. Since September 2007, I am happily living at Göteborg City and attending Chalmers University as a student of the master program Secure and Dependable Computer Systems. At the moment, I hold a Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science Engineering from Tecnólogico de Monterrey, ITESM. Before I came to Sweden I was living in Monterrey City, where I finished my bachelor’s studies in May 2006 and worked at the Corporative Office of the Monterrey International Airport until 2007. I have always considered security in computer systems a very interesting topic; as the time goes by, more people relay on a computer as a support tool to perform their daily assignments, from sending an e-mail, making a phone call or accessing their bank account from the internet. Security has become an essential part of today´s information systems, not only in my country, but at global level. That is one of the reasons by which I decided to specialize in such an interesting area. I hope the master degree is only the first step for a brighter future, not only for me but also, for my friends who have undertaken this journey along with me and the STINT Foundation.

My name is Wang Xiaowen and I come from Shanghai, which is one of the biggest cities in China. I completed my four-year undergraduate study in the College of Life Sciences at Peking University before I came to Sweden. A good mastery of fundamental but extensive knowledge in Chemistry and Biology is what I achieve at Peking University, which now turns to be the essential foundation in my study of Biotechnology at KTH. Biotechnology is revealing its potential. The general vision is that Europe will have made substantial progress towards a bio-based society by 2025. I hope I can learn a lot about both biology and engineering here and devote myself to the development of the bio-based industry. Biotechnology will definitely be a strong tool to make life better and I believe I can be an explorer and promoter in this area.
