What about the term fee, does the scholarship cover that?

No, it is not meant to cover the term fee, since you are not supposed to enroll as a graduate student at the foreign university. We suggest that you try to stay at the institution of your choice as a guest, in the capacity of a visiting researcher. However, STINT cannot insure that you will not be made to pay a fee. Your best chance of reducing or removing a term fee, is to contact the host institution at your earliest convenience and get them to explore the opportunities for you to stay as a guest.

When do I get my money?

Under normal circumstances, no later than four weeks before departure, under the condition that we have received a signed contract and a payment form from you.

Can I accept other grants for the same activity?

Yes, but only within a certain limit. For the four month period the STINT scholarship is supposed to cover, you are allowed to receive SEK 20 000 from other sources. For any extra months, you can receive SEK 25 000 per month. Thus, if you wanted to stay abroad for six months, you could accept SEK 70 000 (20+25+25) from other sources. If you accept more than this, STINT will deduct the excess amount from your scholarship.
