Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme

The Research Grants Council (RGC) manages the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme aiming at attracting the best and brightest students from all over the world to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong. Eligible to apply are those who are seeking admission as new full-time PhD students at 8 Hong Kong institutions.

The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HKD 20,000 and an annual conference travel allowance of HKD 10,000. Eligible candidates should first make an Initial Application online through the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme Electronic System to obtain a HKPFS Reference Number by 1 December 2016 at Hong Kong Time 12:00 before submitting applications for PhD admission to their desired institutions. Applicants may choose up to two programmes/departments at one or two institutions for PhD study under HKPFS 2017/18.

STINT & RJ launch: Sweden-Japan 150 Anniversary Grants
