JSPS Summer Program

TThe Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT) awards in collaboration with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) scholarships for research stays in Japan. The JSPS Summer Program is open for research in all fields of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.

JSPS Summer Program 2017 gives Master and PhD students as well as recently graduated doctors a possibility to receive an orientation on Japanese culture and research systems during two summer months. Candidates are selected based on their potential contribution to strengthened research collaboration between Japan and Sweden. The application should be made with a specific form available HERE and sent to STINT February 7, 2017, at the latest. In parallel, if you are interested, please also apply to STINT for a scholarship within the Capstone Awards programme. Grants for Integration and Int'l

STINT’s programme Grants for Integration and Internationalisation is taking its basis in the fact that academics with a refugee background can contribute to the internationalisation at Swedish higher education institutions as well as to the development of higher education and research in Sweden.This in combination with the creativity and involvement of Swedish higher education institutions in issues relating to newly arrived, form the starting point for the call.
